Classic Afula thrashcore-grind combining humor with social statments. First (and only) release of these hidden recordings. From the sound of it, I assume it's a live recording from one of the rehearsals. Originally burned on CD-R or downloaded by the band and friends. Eventually we released in on tape, without too much cooperation from the defunct band. A couple dozen copies were made, according to demand. (Hebrew)

Israel grindcore band which (because of military-type problems for the straightedge singer) don't exist anymore, the only recording released is this fine demo. Bar Minan are representing the small (but lively) scene of extreme music in their area.

Bands of this kind don't come by the dozens... The band, also by looking at their site, show a mocking of pentagrams and other "satanist" symbols... The demo isn't recorded too bad... maybe lacking in body. But it does carry the acidity and roughness in the sound...

The songs are structured well on the basis of grind/old school hardcore... Scratching guitars, drums that sound like machine guns, and vocals that consume the throat so bad that you would have to throw it away afterwards...

The thirteen songs confront issues that vary from social to political to personal anxiety... All expressed with great anger... In short a simple "honest" band without beautification that is worth your time.

Gruppo grind-core israeliano che (per problemi di tipo militare per il cantante-straightedge-)non esiste più, l’unica traccia lasciata è questa buona demo. I BM sono esponenti della scarnissima (ma vivace) scena di musica estrema della loro regione.

Gruppi del genere penso non arrivino alla decina... La band, osservandone anche il sito, si presenta subito con irriverenza assortita da Caproni pentacoli e ‘satanismi’ vari... La demo non è registata male...forse manca di corposità. Ma quello che ci guadagna è l’acidità e la ruvidità dei suoni...

Le canzoni sono ben strutturate sulla base di grind/hc old school...chitarre graffianti batteria modello mitragliatrice e voce che consuma la gola a tal punto da doverla buttare dopo l’uso...

I tredici pezzi affrontano argomenti che vanno dal sociale al politico al disagio interiore...il tutto espresso con grande rabbia... Insomma un gruppo semplice ‘onesto’ senza fronzoli che merita.
